Dr Bethany Waterhouse-Bradley

Lecturer in Health and Social Care Policy, Ulster University

Bethany Waterhouse-Bradley is a Lecturer in Health and Social Care Policy at Ulster University. She completed her PhD in Social Policy in 2012 at Ulster, examining the efficacy of the voluntary sector in representing BME social movements in public policy. Bethany seeks to generate work which reflects the lived experience of marginalised groups, provides evidence to reduce institutional barriers to accessing public services, and create space for widening participation in civil society and the political sphere. Her recent work explores the relationships between emotion and public policy, and technology and inequalities. She is a member of the Social Policy Association and alumna of the Cherish Digital Economy Crucible.
